Livejournal Crossposting Lives On…

So the guy that developed the LJXP plugin for Wordpress has released a new version that supports Wordpress 2.0.   Even though I was about to head to bed I instead decided to install the plugin right quick and give it a go.  Here are the results!  For all you Livejournal addicts you can now see all my latest entries appear on your friends page.  Enjoy!

Hello WordPress!

Well the basic work has been done and now my blog has a new home. Although LiveJournal provides an excellant community and plenty of control, it just wasn’t meant to be for us. I wanted more. I wanted 100% control over my content and the ability to tweek things as I see fit.

Now that WordPress is in my life I feel as though if I can dream it it can be done!

Ok, I’m really not that gaga over the whole thing, but it’s safe to say that I am very excited about some of the things I will be working on in the future. I’ve been looking to do something with Google Maps and now’s my chance. You’ll notice a teeny tiny map located a little further down this page on the right. Sure it only points to Google Headquarters in California, but there is plenty of potential there. I’ve also had a rather painless time tinkering with this theme and feel as if I can really do whatever I want with it. For now I’ll stick with this though.

That’s really all I have for now. Look for plenty of changes to come and change your bookmarks if you were a stalker of mine over on LiveJournal. Laters!
