a Beautiful day

Even though I have 5 tests I have to study for next week I had to be outside. Something about a 60 degree day just screams “GO OUTSIDE!” So I did! Did a little homework and then I spent a few hours out on the mini quad playing some sand volleyball. Lets just say I haven’t played in a while and was a little rusty. Anyway about an hour later it was time to further break in the new blades I bought yesterday. So I dragged my future roommate Bill out and about and we went for a trip around Normal. Good times were had.

And, with this being another ISU weekend 1/3 of the people are at home, 1/3 are just sitting around doing nothing, and the other 1/3 are out partying it up. Sometimes makes for a boring weekend but I always make the best of it. Oh well, I’m not really the partying type so I’ll just have my own fun!

Time for bed….I’m out!

Class is out for the week! YAY! Since it’s a nice day I thought I’d go out for a trip around town. Specifically Dick’s and the Sprint store. After I convince everyone that rollarblading there doesn’t really take that long I head out. Off to find some soccer shoes and replace my stupid phone. After finally picking out a pair of soccer shoes I decide to finally get a new pair of blades that I have been looking for since Christmas. I find a nice pair and head home. I’m sure I’ll be breaking those in later in the weekend!

After finally getting .Net installed on my computer I decide it’s time to start messing around with some VB. Of course this is impossible using a VB6 book with .Net software, so I get on Amazon and order me a nice VB.Net book. My goal is to have at least a partial knowledge of a few more languages than C++ so I’m ready for the internship hunt next fall. These positions can be very competitive and really don’t want to miss out on this opportunity. So that’s my plan!

Time for some sleep!

Soccer, Soccis, and more Soccer!

So a new session has started for the L33t Pwnrs and so far we have a perfect record! Of course that record is only 1-0 but hey, it’s still a perfect record. Anyway, with the weather getting a tad bit nicer this past week it was also time to start the Soccis season. If you can imagine taking soccer, tennis, and volleyball and adding them all together you’d have Soccis. Great sport!

Moving on it’s almost time for spring break which can only mean one thing, this semester is flying by. Even though I’ll be working from 7:30-4:30 the entire week it will be a good break from school and an extra few bucks in my pocket. But, since spring break isn’t here yet I’ll have to be getting back to some form of homework. I’m out!
