Where to start…how about Thursday…..here we go!
Thursday was an easy test day only had to go take the Psych110 test. Neil and I studied for about half an hour and then decided it wouldn’t be too bad. It was a fun walk there, it was raining cats and dogs and we were soaked by the time we got there. Luckily Amy’s umbrella managed to keep my right arm dry! The test, as we had already guessed, wasn’t really that bad. There were confusing parts but overall, not too bad. Got out of there way early so I went back to my room to play some Pocket Tanks. Man is that game addictive! Shortly after that I was off to Calc 2 to learn some more wonderful calculus shit. Oh how I hate that class! After class it was time to monkey around with my calculator to make sure I knew how to do some calculations for the Lab exam. I guess I lied about only having one test! oops! Anyway, walked in there and purged some information on gels, chemicals, and statistics and then got the hell out and headed home for some grub. Even though I had a Bio test the next day that was supposed to be more difficult than the last I still wanted to play some soccer at parkside. Jake and Neil, however, disagreed and we all stayed home and looked over the Bio notes. Normally a test wouldn’t really affect Jake because he hates studying and rarely participates in such events, but since Neil and I kicked his ass last time on the test he was sure to study this time! Off to Friday!
Friday was a very warm day but on my way to class at 9 the wind was blowing my feet out from under me. 261 was rather boring. Just had a little review session over the Cool tools. They are rather cool, as the name implies, but, as my fellow classmates put it, the interface is rather “ghetto.” It’s true though, a very expensive program such as Cool should look a lot cooler than it does! We kept ourselves amused in class by shocking ourselves with my pen. No one dared hand it to Bev though. Oh well, next up was the Bio test, the only stuff floating around my mind was NADPH, krebs, calvin, chlorophyll (”more like borophyll!”) and everything else that goes along with respiration and photosynthesis. I won’t bore you with that stuff though but I will continue to ramble on because I’m not quite up to date yet! So I finished the test in 20 minutes feeling very confident about it. After lunch I went to my politics class knowing all to well that Bradley would be up to no good the day before spring break. Sure enough there was extra credit info and even a notecard quiz. It was rather fun sitting in class. My chair had previously been broken and kept folding down much too low. I constanlty had to pull myself up. It was a good time none the less. Finally, well, for friday anyway, was Calc 2 again. Finally got our tests back. I was dissappointed to see a low grade due to stupid minor mistakes but glad to see that I had a firm grasp on the concepts. That’s always a plus in calculus! After that I was off to pack up my shit and get the hell out of town for a week. My parents rolled in shortly after class and were nice enough to pick me up some food pyramids for the fish. They may not be able to talk but I know they’re thankful! My fish are also being tended to by the lovely . Im sure they appreciate her company as well! Thanks Karen! I packed up my clothes, all 50 or so pounds, called Mary, and then we were off. Home here I come!
Wait wait wait! We’re not done yet!!!
Friday night we were hungry so we went out for some dinner, just me and the rents. I’m pretty sure the average age at our table was the lowest in the place. It was friday night fish fry and their were plenty older people having a night on the town! After that we came home and vegged. It’s nice to be home finally!
OK, on to Saturday! The Update Train is rounding the corner into the station…Remain seated until the train has come to a full and complete stop! Don’t worry, you’ll understand the train thing in a few seconds. My first day home and I was already getting up before 9am. Breakfast time at Whistle Stop (get it now?) with the grandparents. My grandpa’s birthday was friday and we couldn’t celebrate then so we decided breakfast would work just as well. Afterwards me and the rents were off to the annual trade show at the high school. Lots of raffles and free shit so we went! My mom won a keychain from the local theatre that said “I love Tad Hamilton.” That was humerous but not quite as humerous as my dad telling the LifeSource people that they are worse than dracula. They call all the time and always want our blood. It’s been going on for a while now. Anyway, back home to take a nice nap on the couch. Later we cleaned up the house, made a cake and then my grandparents came over as well as my parents friends David and Laura came over for dinner and cake. Spaghetti cause I was finally home and cake for my grandpa. All in all not a bad deal if you ask me. After that more lounging and then off to check the email for grades. I found out that I was a measly 3 pts shy of an A in Bio and got an 84.62 in Psy110. Not bad considering both tests were supposed to be harder than the previous. My Bio test went up a full 10 pts and my Psy test only went down about 5. I’m content! The train has officially entered the station signaling the end of this rather lengthy entry. Hopefully it wasn’t too boring for yah!
Quick notice…The LiveJournal users has grown even more with the addition my future Mac loving roommate Bill (just lay off the Mac thing, i think he’s sensitive!)! I plan on hounding him to update just like the rest of em! Check out his journal .
For now though I’m off to the the comforting arms of my nice BIG bed! You never fully appreciate a big bed until you sleep on and XL Twin! Good night all!
